How to Make Sure You’re on the Voters List

How do I make sure I’m on the voter’s list?
How do I vote?

Make sure you are on the Voters List by going to voterlookup.ca. You will need your property’s 19-digit Roll Number found on your Property Assessment Notice or municipal tax bill.

Prior to the voting period, you will receive a personalized Voters Information Letter by mail which will include your PIN and instructions for voting online or by telephone.

New for the 2018 municipal elections, you will be able to vote by internet and telephone. That means, if you are a seasonal resident, you do not need to make a special trip to the cottage to vote. Internet and telephone voting will start on October 12 and go through to October 22, 2018.

Election assistance is available at the Township office (1012 Dwight Beach Road, Dwight) during regular office hours from October 12 to 22. Additionally there will be assistance available on Monday October 15, 6-8 p.m. at the Township office, Wednesday October 17, 6-8 p.m. at the Baysville library (10 University St.) and Thursday October 18, 6-8 p.m. at the Dorset Senior Centre (5025 Hwy 117). Bring your Voter Information Letter, or if you have not received one, proof of identification with your qualifying address. Click here for details.
