Take notice that the Annual General Meeting of members of the Lake of Bays Association will be held on Saturday July 4, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in order to:
- Receive the financial statements and the auditor’s report for the year ended October 31, 2025.
- Elect directors.
- Appoint the auditor and authorize the directors to fix their remuneration.
- Transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournments thereof.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, and still wish to have your vote recorded on the matters to be voted on at the meeting, please complete and return the proxy. To be valid, completed proxies must be received by the Secretary of the Association [[email protected]] by Thursday July 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Wildland Fire Mitigation
Ken Cox is the Provincial Fire Advisor for Ontario’s Southern Region with the Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services Branch of the Ministry of Natural Resources. With 18 years of frontline wildland fire experience, he now leads wildfire education, mitigation, and community preparedness across Southern Ontario in his advisory role. Ken also remains operational during fire season and is deployed nationally as required in a number of Wildland Fire Management functions. While at home, he serves as a Volunteer Fire Captain in Algonquin Highlands, neighbouring to Lake of Bays. For the Lake of Bays Association Annual General Meeting, Ken will focus on Wildland Fire mitigation and FireSmart Canada principals.
