Come to the Silent Boat Rally for an inside look at the
natural secrets of the Lower Oxtongue River
Saturday August 3, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Silent Boat Rally is for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. Join us for a chance to paddle the beautiful, winding Lower Oxtongue River, explore small bays and meanders along the way. We will launch our crafts below Marsh’s Falls and paddle down the river to Lake of Bays and then return to the Falls. Participants will learn about the plants and animals that can be seen on the river. This is 8 kilometres of easy paddling in protected waters followed by a light lunch.
The cost is $20 per person, and everyone is welcome. To register or for more information, please contact [email protected].
Silent Boat Rally co-hosts are the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation and the Lake of Bays Association.
