FAQ – Can I vote if I’m a seasonal resident?
YES! If you are a seasonal resident you can vote in BOTH your permanent residence municipality and at the cottage, so long as you meet these criteria on voting day:
- 18 years of age or older,
- a Canadian citizen, and
- resident of the Township of Lake of Bays (Town of Huntsville); or owner or tenant of land in the Township or Town, or a spouse or same-sex partner of such a person.
