Thank you ...
... to the 50+ members, politicians and guests who joined us on Saturday January 20 in Dwight for LOBA's annual Open Board meeting. Ian Beverley, LOBA President, updated us on what is happening around the lake; Judith Mills, President of the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation (LBHF), provided a lively presentation on the foundation's achievements and goals; and Township Councillors Ruth Ross and Nancy Tapley, and District Chair John Klinck briefed us on what's happening in local government. More details will be available in the Spring Current Connection coming out in March.

We kicked off the meeting with this Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations (FOCA) video about the importance of lake and community associations.
