On Our Radar - Floating Accommodations

We have heard concerns from residents about Floating Accommodations on the water. In March President Wendy Gibson attended a Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations (FOCA) information session on the issue. We understand that Mayor Glover and Director of Building & By-law Service, Steven Watson attended a meeting with the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry about the issue. The Environmental Registry of Ontario (ERO) is seeking input and Mayor Glover is putting forward a motion at Tuesday's Council meeting.

LOBA is following all of this, will make comments as appropriate and will keep members informed.
