Transport Canada has released an
Interim Order
limiting boating on a number of water bodies including the North and South Branches of the Muskoka River.
While there is no restrictions on Lake of Bays, we strongly advise all residents NOT to boat on the lake at this time as any wake will be extremely destructive to shorelines and shoreline structures and there is a great deal of debris floating in the water.
